If you haven't seen already, ICE has been getting aggressive. REALLY aggressive. And it's not okay whatsoever. We're all people, no matter immigration status nor any arbitrary reason besides that. Please keep safe.

Phronemophobia
"REALLY aggressive" is still phrasing it lightly. I've been listening to interviews on public radio of people talking about how ICE agents simply disregarded a loved one's rights altogether (whether they were a legal citizen or not) and took them into custody by force. In some cases, they'd even manage to ship these victims out of the country before any sort of due process could begin. There's clearly no fear of repercussions for these thugs right now. What they can and cannot do legally does not seem to be a priority at the moment.
Don't just stay safe. Stay alert and, if possible, stay away.
